Treatment Relapse Prevention Aftercare Chemical Dependency is a disease that is chronic, progressive, treatable but not curable. It is a disease that can be placed in remission but is also prone to relapse. This disease affects us emotionally, physically, and mentally. Healing from substance abuse include all aspects of self: the Mind, the Body, and the Spirit.

Mission StatementMERIT CDPI offers a healing environment dedicated to the treatment and prevention of HIV, substance abuse, and mental health issues affecting socially disadvantaged adolescents. Components of MERITATR COMPONENTAccess to Recovery is a State funded initiative that permit drug courts to offer adolescents and adults free access to substance abuse and/or recovery support treatment. BEHAVIOR HEALTH COMPONENTDesigned to help adolescents deal with anger, fear, depression, and abuse by offering Individual Psychotherapy, process groups, drama teach, Psychodrama, and family therapy. SUBSTANCE ABUSE COMPONENTAn integrated approach to chemical dependency treatment by incorporating the 12 step program with Intensive and Supportive Outpatient Treatment through Individual Counseling, Family and Group Therapy, Relapse Prevention, Life Skills and Aftercare. Clients will receive Clinical Drug and Alcohol Assessments designed by the SASSI Institute. Assessment results include:
EDUCATIONAL COMPONENTMERIT CDPI computer labs are open Monday—Saturday. Clients receive assistance in:
MEDICAL COMPONENT“Medical Financial Assistance” MERIT CDPI acts as an authorized representative in assisting clients in applying for Chip, Cobra, Medicare, Medicaid, or Private Health Insurance. CASE MANAGEMENTLicensed Master Social Worker’s assist clients find services for youth and/or pregnant women in need of medical services, family problems, education or school issues, financial concerns, and equipment and supplies. |
Adolescent Mental Health-Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment Facility MERIT CDPI provides an alcohol /drug free, safe, secure, supportive, healing environment integrated with beliefs, values, and norms which are essential to recovery and remission from chemical dependency.
